Knotweed is one of the hardest weeds to remove from a garden. Introduced into the UK by a Victorian gardener it is now found in every County in England.
Fly tipping of garden waste has further spread knotweed. The plant quickly becomes established growing up to 8cm per day. With landfill tax and disposal costs it is an expensive task to dig and dump the soil.
The good news is the plant can be eradicated using a variety of herbicides.

The herbicides are site specific depending on each sites local environment eg. near a water course.
We carry out a site specific risk assessment on each site before choosing the correct herbicide to use. Being Environmental Consultants and not simply sprayers we can assess how the herbicide could affect your land.
There is no point in solving the knotweed issue only to contaminate the land! We choose our herbicides carefully to avoid this.

Anyone who uses a professional pesticide product in the course of their business or employment may not use that pesticide unless they qualified. This is a legal requirement. Here, at Pearl we are all hold a Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC) for the safe use of pesticides (PD1) and application of pesticides using a knapsack (PD6). Your land is safe in our hands.
